Three process parameters of vulcanized rubber products are: temperature, time and pressure. The curing temperature is the biggest influence on the properties of the product. The effect of temperature on the rubber products, in many literature can be found, but a lot of literature have ignored the effect of curing pressure on rubber vulcanization. Rubber curing pressure, is an important factor to ensure the geometry size, density of rubber parts structure, physical and mechanical properties, but also can assure smooth surface without defects, to seal, sealing products requirements. Curing pressure is not random, cure too much pressure in addition to mould damage, equipment, electricity consumption, will also affect the properties of the products. Band member will damage the skeleton. Little pressure will directly affect the product geometry size and physical and mechanical properties. |
